The Family that Visions Together Can Make Their Dreams Come True!

Our Vision Board Party 2016Knowing the power of envisioning what I want and seeing the results manifested in my life over and over again has completely sealed my belief in vision boards. So, for 2016, I decided that it would be wonderful to create vision boards with my new family and see what we could manifest collectively and individually.

As a new wife and stepmother, I have been blessed with the husband of my dreams and his sons, who are incredible young men. My new and bonding family brings me great joy, and I often find myself quietly celebrating this tremendous gift from the Universe.

However, in 2013, I did not have my husband or my stepsons, and I definitely had no idea they were on their way to me. In fact, all I had was my dream, my hope, and my sometimes, unwavering faith that somehow this man of mine would show up in this lifetime. So, I placed an image of an engagement ring and wedding band on a vision board along with a picture of a happy couple traveling together.

Well, in May of 2014, guess who showed up – my vision board man. Yep, that’s right. Down to his salt and pepper hair, just like the man in my 2013 vision board. In January 2015 we got engaged, and in May 2015 we married. It was a whirlwind love affair, and, along with the blessing of my husband I was gifted with his two amazing sons.

As I took my family through what we would be doing to create our 2016 vision boards, they seemed excited. I even found some of the pictures from my old board that included a picture of a wedding band and engagement ring that are remarkably similar to the ones I wear now.

So as we cut, pasted, chatted, and listened to inspiring music while we focused on all of the fantastic possibilities the Universe is holding for us, I was reminded that dreams require intention and work. Dreams remain just that, dreams, unless we actually take actions steps towards the manifestation of those dreams.

Creating a vision board is lots of fun. It releases your creativity and brings clarity and focus to your dreams and goals. Your vision board is also a constant visual reminder of those dreams and goals. It stands out and calls your attention to what you say you want, and then it begs the question: so what are you doing to get it?

Get clear about what you want for 2016. Create your vision board and then get to work towards making those dreams a reality.
